Mariellyn and I at Café Mayer in the Olde Towne of Bratislava…right after purchasing our Slovak text books….whew, we needed a milkshake break after one of our first foreign language lessons. The first few weeks of Slovak were really challenging…it’s September, and words are finally emerging out of the symphony of sounds around me.
